Joined "Cherry Blossom Lunch 2026"

We had the pleasure of attending the Cherry Blossom Lunch 2026 held recently at Blossom Park in Amstelveen. 🌸

Hosted by the Gemeente Amstelveen, this annual event celebrates the longstanding friendship between Japan and the Netherlands.

Following a wonderful program featuring live musical performances, guests gathered for lunch at Museum JAN, where we enjoyed meaningful conversations while welcoming the arrival of spring. ✨

Blossom Park is currently undergoing a redevelopment project, with the iconic cherry trees scheduled to be gradually replaced between the second half of 2025 and the spring of 2029.

We look forward to seeing this special place—an enduring symbol of the close ties between our two countries—continue to flourish for future generations. ☺️
