Joined "Cherry Blossom Lunch 2026"

We recently had the pleasure of attending the Cherry Blossom Lunch 2026, held at Blossom Park in Amstelveen.

Organized by the Municipality of Amstelveen, this annual event celebrates the long-standing friendship and cultural ties between Japan and the Netherlands. Following a program of live musical performances, participants gathered at Museum JAN for lunch, providing a wonderful opportunity to connect with members of the local community while enjoying the arrival of spring.

Blossom Park is currently undergoing a redevelopment project, with its iconic cherry trees being gradually replaced between the second half of 2025 and the spring of 2029. We look forward to seeing this symbolic location continue to grow as a place that represents the enduring relationship between Japan and the Netherlands.
